Benny Lee
Director / Principal Consultant
An aviation professional specialise in Safety Management System, Quality System, and Aviation Security Program. A holder of HKAR-66 engineer license (AML) and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Engineers (HKIE). Benny has held a range of senior positions in the aviation industry from line/base maintenance operations, AOC & MRO key post holders, senior management posts overseeing systems, operations and compliance.
Benny began his aviation career as an apprentice in the Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company. After having wide-exposed maintenance experience, he joined the Quality Assurance Department and worked with the HK, FAA & UK regulatory.
When Benny joined the Royal HK Auxiliary Air Force, he developed and implemented the Quality and Safety System compliance to the civil aviation & ISO standards for transition to the Government Flying Service. Afterwards Benny headed the Engineering Department with active participation in the overall GFS Operations in Government aviation services and Emergency Search & Rescue (SAR) duties.
Starting 2007, Benny moved onto the helicopter operations in Macao/Hong Kong for the development, implementation and maintenance of the ICAO Safety Management System and the Aviation Security Program in addition to his full responsibility in the AOC Quality system in monitoring operation standards in the flight operations, aerodrome operations and the aircraft maintenance.
Benny incorporated the Benny Lee Consultancy in mid 2015; following his departure from the Hong Kong Sky Shuttle Helicopters / East Asia Airlines in Macao.
